SO, UM, REALLY STARTING BACK IN DECEMBER WHEN WE HAD OUR TOWN HALL, THERE WAS CONCERNS ABOUT HOW WILL THE GROWING BUSINESS DISTRICT IN MAIN STREET AFFECT THE SENIOR CENTER PARKING. SO THROUGH A SERIES OF MEETINGS AND, UM, EVERYONE'S INPUT, THE [00:05:01] RECOMMENDATIONS FOR, UM, RESTRICTED PARKING FOR CERTAIN SPOTS DURING DAYTIME HOURS WAS, WAS DERIVED. AND, UM, THAT'S WHAT WE'RE HOPING TO KIND OF MOVE FORWARD WITH. THAT'S GREAT. YEAH. THANK YOU. UM, I JUST WANTED TO MAKE NOTE OF THE 2024 BURLINGTON COUNTY RECYCLING PROGRAM. UM, MEDFORD COLLECTED OVER $5.5 MILLION WORTH OF RECYCLING AND THE LANDFILL DISPOSAL SAVINGS WAS, UH, OVER $273,000 SUBSTANTIAL SAVINGS. THAT'S GREAT, THANK YOU. UH, IN ADDITION TO, TO THAT WELL DONE TOWN AND, UH, REGARDING THE, THE, UH, SMALL SUBCOMMITTEES, ONE OF THE THINGS THAT WE SAID AT THE BEGINNING OF THIS YEAR WAS THAT WE WANTED TO ALLOW AND HELP THE RESIDENTS IN THE TOWN STEP A LITTLE CLOSER, EXIST A LITTLE BIT BETTER WITH BUSINESSES, ESPECIALLY ON MAIN STREET. AND SO SEEING THE SUBCOMMITTEE ARRIVE AT A CONSENSUS TO BE ABLE TO, UH, EVEN ESTABLISH SOME, SOME PARKING TO HELP OUR SENIORS AND TO HELP SOME OF THE RESIDENTS IN THE AREA IN COLLABORATION WITH THE BUSINESSES, I THINK IS A REAL WIN. AND IT WOULD BE GOOD TO HAVE THE COUNTY'S APPROVAL, UH, TO DO THE PARKING SPACE STRIPING THEREAFTER. UM, IN PREPARATION FOR WHAT WE HAVE GOING ON IN THE SUMMER, IF, IF I MAY. SO, UM, MR. KNOLL, WE GREATLY APPRECIATE THE INFORMATION YOU SENT OVER, WHICH WE HAVE BEEN SHARING WITH THE SUBCOMMITTEE. SO JUST OPEN THAT UP FOR OUR OWN DISCUSSION, UH, REGARDING THE CHALLENGES OF THAT. MAYBE SOME OF THE CONVERSATIONS I KNOW IN DISCUSSING WITH EACH OF YOU IN THE PAST COUPLE OF WEEKS, WE HAVE BEEN ON THE PHONE FOR HOURS AND HOURS, MANY MEETINGS, ET CETERA. AND SO PERHAPS WE CAN TALK ABOUT THAT, MAYBE SOME OF THE CONSENSUS OF THAT. UM, BUT THERE'S CLEARLY MANY CHALLENGES THAT WE HAVE TO WORK THROUGH. SO I THINK IT WAS APPROPRIATE THAT WE DID TABLE IN DEATH BECAUSE EVEN ALERTING, HOW DO YOU ALERT THE NEIGHBOR? YOU KNOW, THEY JUST CAME IN, THEY FILLED ALL THIS PAPERWORK OUT, BUT WHO'S GOING TO ALL THE NEIGHBORS WITHIN A RADIUS TO ADVISE THEM. MM-HMM . IT'S, IT'S DEFINITELY CHALLENGING. MM-HMM . YOU THEN HAD AN INTERIM TOWN MANAGER AND ALTHOUGH HE WAS INTERESTED IN THE PROJECT, THE PROJECT DID NOT MOVE FORWARD AT THAT TIME. AND THEN MR. HOR NIEL WAS HIRED AND HE INFORMED ME THAT THEY APPROVED THE ONE APPLICATION THAT THEY HAD FOR $28,000, BUT WINTER WAS COMING ON AND WORK DID NOT BEGIN. HE INFORMED ME THAT IT WAS TO BE COMPLETED BY THIS APRIL. AND THEN MR. HORNICK CALLED YOU AGAIN AFTER THE WORK WAS COMPLETED.
